4-Year-Old Competes For Gold, But What She Really Wins Is Our Hearts

At the 2016 Rainbow National Competition, dancers from all over the nation congregated in Tampa, Florida to strut their stuff in front of the judges. But one competitor managed to win over the judges AND viewers across the world with her incredible routine.

Ella Dobler displays talent and grace beyond her years in this stunning routine choreographed to an acoustic rendition of Belinda Carlisle’s 1987 hit “Heaven Is A Place On Earth.” And she couldn’t have picked a more fitting tune for her angelic performance.

To set the mood for her thoughtful and reflective performance, Dobler begins by walking onto the stage with incredibly poised steps. As she crouches down to wait for her first cue, we find ourselves holding our breath in anticipation.

At only 4-years-old, it’s truly incredible that Dobler has the flexibility to execute dance moves like this all while performing the incredibly complex 2-minute long routine from memory. Who knows what she’ll do next in the dance world.
